Fib and Lies

Fib is even more difficult to tell from pure deception than white lies. It can be defined as ingenious juicy decoration of the truth with facts which are placed right on the border between lies and the truth, the latter being unstable due to the air the skilful fibbers surround it with.

Fib is often not connected with any hidden hideous intentions. People are fond of it because they are equally into spouting off about their adventures very often making them much more adventurous than they are in the real life. Fibbers are most probably passionate story-tellers and have a way with words skillfully enough to enjoy invariably boasting their far-fetched ventures.

Sometimes fibbers have fun using their talented tongues to impress persons of especially opposite sex – the ones that make alluring appeal to them. They tell their stories often without realizing that they have long crossed the line of truth, and sometimes have got no clue that their white fib is disclosed in a blink of an eye.

Fib is closer to the truth if compared with any other type of lies. However, if we follow the logic implying the fact that it's not the truth either, the only most adequate option that's left is deception. Detailed examination may prompt its milder influence and less harsh characteristics, but facing facts still speaks volumes.
